The biography was originally written in English by R E Mark Lee, a long-time associate of Krishnamurti and Trustee of the Krishnamurti Foundation of America. The Bengali translation has been done by Prabir Banerjee. This is the first biography of Jiddu Krishnamurti in Bengali. The aim of the book is to make available to the Bengali reader a short and easy-to-read book about the life and teachings of Krishnamurti.
