JAMSHEDPUR BOOK FAIR 11 TO 20 NOVEMBER 2022

Our Centre participated in the Jamshedpur Book Fair on 11 to 20 November, 2022 at the Tagore Society grounds at Sakchi, Jamshedpur. The 36th Jamshedpur Book Fair at Rabindra Bhavan kicked off amidst enthusiasm. COVID had put a stop to the Book Fair in 2020 and 2021 and so the people of Jamshedpur were looking forward to the Fair. Over 60 stalls were put up at the fair. 

Our stall at the Fair made available the whole collection of J Krishnamurti books in English as well as translations in Hindi and Bengali. It is very difficult to slot J Krishnamurti into any category such as philosopher, spiritual teacher or whatever. The significance of his work lies in his view that each one has to explore the totality of life on one’s own.

Our stall had a steady flow of visitors during the book fair from 11 to 20 November and we were able to renew our association with the town of Jamshedpur.
