On 5 January, our Centre organised an interesting program. It was an interaction with Professor Padmanabhan Krishna, a Trustee of Krishnamurti Foundation India. After 24 years as a professor of Physics at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, in 1986 he took responsibility for the Rajghat Besant School at Varanasi. This was at the earnest request of J Krishnamurti.
Our interaction program with Professor Krishna on 5 January was different. It came about after a young student friend from Hyderabad sent quite a few questions to us related to life and the teachings of J Krishnamurti. We then thought that a program which encouraged honest questions could perhaps help achieve greater clarity and deep reflection. The questions covered a lot of ground on many facets including awareness, violence, observation, conditioning, religion, nature, thought and a lot more.
