We had a vibrant group interaction at our Centre in Kolkata on Sunday 12 January. Thanks to each one of the 20 participants for their time and energy. We shared our thoughts on the theme ‘DO WE EVER START A NEW YEAR?’. That led us to inquire, explore deeply into the whole area of conditioning, thought, self and a lot more. The group saw a short video from the ‘Beyond Myth and Tradition series: Conditioning – Prisoners of the past’.
Finally, the group listened to and discussed a question and answer text (Madras 6 January 1981 – 7th question) on the source of thought. The question put to J Krishnamurti was “What is the source of thought? How does one go to the very source of thought so that there is a possibility of silencing the thinking process itself?” In the link below, you can read Krishnamurti’s response to question 7.
