CAN CONFLICT END?

On Sunday 27 July, we had a dialogue program on the theme of ‘Conflict’.  22 participants across all ages attended the interaction. We screened a short 9-minute video to set the tone. It was part of the Ojai talk 2 in 1980 on the theme of ‘Conflict’.
During the dialogue, we also had a reading from an interesting conversation where J Krishnamurti was asked how does one end conflict.

Here is an interesting excerpt from the Ojai talk 2 in 1980. Observation without distortion.

‘So the problem then is: is it possible for the content of consciousness to be dissolved? You understand? Go into it a little bit. That is, one of the contents of that consciousness is the psychological wounds that we have received from childhood. You know them, don’t you? You are all familiar with them. That’s probably one of the major conflicts, a major factor, in our consciousness. We will go into that completely together so that together we dissolve it immediately. You understand, it is not analysis but pure observation. Analysis implies a concept from which you are working. You understand? Right sir? In observation there is no concept.’
